Burbank Parade 2009
NEO? What is he doing on the streets of Burbank? Is this a Matrix sequel? Oops … It is Matrix indeed but it is actually a rendition of the movie by the Planet Infinity More Than MedalsTM Tae Kwon Do gym, performed during the gym’s participation in the “Burbank Goes Hollywood” Parade organized by the Burbank Chamber of Commerce.
This is a yearly event that draws businesses here in Burbank to highlight their commitment to the city. Planet Infinity is one of those that believe in giving back to 
the community, even if it is simply in the form of doing a remake of Matrix, Star Wars and Kung Fu Panda to delight the crowd.
Students donned costumes and painted their faces to bring to life movies we came to love while adding a repertoire of their own Tae Kwon Do moves into the parade. Breaking boards? No problem … the Kung Fu Panda group did it with style and so did the Star Wars group that performed a “Tae Kwon Dance” routine.
The center of Planet Infinity’s involvement though is the Self-Defense routine performed by the Matrix group. Boy, you would have thought that there was indeed a film-shoot going on.
These by the way are just some of the training that enrolled students of Planet Infinity are involved in. Basically, they go through so much more to further develop them in order to also excel in their school, community, home environment and other areas of involvement.
